Watch Blue is the Warmest Color on Netflix
You can always find out if a film is available on Netflix with a simple Google search but if you click on the search result, the movie will not play on Netflix and simply take you to the home screen. This is because Netflix has licenses to show that movie in specific countries. In this case, Blue is the Warmest Color is officially available in Netflix France, Germany, Japan, and Italy.
Thankfully, you can use a reliable VPN to spoof your IP address and help you bypass this geo-restriction. I tested a few different VPNs that work with Netflix and let you unlock the restricted content. For this article, I’d be using SurfShark but you can use any paid VPN to browse Netflix. I tested Express VPN, NordVPN, and SurfShark and all of them worked perfectly. You can watch the film on any device with a working VPN and the steps would be similar across the platforms. I’d be using a Mac. Open the Surfshark app on your computer or smartphone and connect a server in any of the countries the film is available in i.e. – France, Germany, Japan, and Italy.
Once you’re connected to the VPN server, go ahead and minimize the VPN app.
Now, open Netflix on your web browser or the Netflix app if you are on smartphone. Tap the search bar on the top right and type “Blue is the Warmest Color” and it should show up in the search.
Simply click the Play button to begin watching. Enjoy!
Final Words
This was a quick and easy way to watch Blue is the Warmest Color on Netflix. VPNs are the easiest way to unlock the geo-restricted content and you can potentially watch content from anywhere in the world. Surfshark is a relatively cheaper yet reliable option that I recommend.
